Substitute bergaptene-free bergamot for natural bergamot in any skin application Botanical Name: Citrus bergamia Product Notes: Natural Bergamot contains bergaptene, a photosensitizing constituent. Avoid exposure to sun and ultraviolet light while using this product as sunburn may result. Aura Cacia also offers a Bergaptene-free bergamot (item 191105) that has been redistilled to remove most of the photosensitizing constituents responsible for accelerated sunburn with UV exposure.
